Some overland flooding in the MD of Fairview this week has damaged some roads in the municipality.
The flooding has caused some roads and culverts to undermine and become unstable.
The waters have receded, but residents are asked to not drive through the water on the roads, and also to not move barricades or drive around them.
The following roads are currently closed in the MD.
– Pratt’s Landing Road
– TWP Rd 805 from RR 23 to RR 24
– RR 11 from TWP 804 to TWP 810
– TWP 814 from RR 25 to RR 30
– RR 34A from TWP 820 to Airport driveway
– TWP 805 from RR 52 to RR53
If you encounter roads that are undermined and not barricaded, you’re asked to call the MD office at 780 835 4903.
