The Baytex Energy Centre in Peace River, the Mile Zero Multiplex in Grimshaw and the Greenview Multiplex in Valleyview all have several drop-in events happening during the week. Full schedules can be found on their websites and social media.

The fieldhouse in the Falher Recreation Complex is now open for the season. Members can access the facility seven days a week and play pickleball, badminton, basketball, and more. Contact the Falher Town Office for more information.

The Heart River Golf Course in Nampa has their golf leagues underway. The Men’s league is every Tuesday at 7 pm while the Ladies league is every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. For more information, call the clubhouse at 322-3977.

Every Wednesday in the month of June will have cornhole happening at the Falher fieldhouse from 7 pm to 9 pm. Must pre-register with the Town of Falher, phone 780-837-2247.

The Peace River Motocross Races are happening on June 28. The Motorcross Track is west of the intersection of Highways 743 and 986. Watch for the signs. Motocross Racing action. Food Trucks on site. Entry is $10/person. 8 and under are free.

Lesser Slave Watershed Council is hosting a Kid’s Can Catch Free Fishing Event on July 12 at Winagami Lake Provincial Park. Limited rods and tackle available to borrow. Join for fishing (no license needed), games, giveaways, and a free barbeque.
