The town of Peace River continues to mourn the loss of Peace River native and former North Peace Navigators coach, Darcy Haugan.
During Monday night’s Town of Peace River council meeting, council voted unanimously to pass a motion to direct staff to review options to “memorialize Haugan and his contributions to the community”.
The town will keep its municipal flags at half-mast until Saturday’s funeral service.
The town of Grimshaw will be showing it support for the Bronco’s on Thursday by having its students wear their jersey’s to show solidarity for the families affected by the tragic bus accident.
