The Town of Fairview approved $50,000 to Terrapin Geothermics during Wednesday night’s town council meeting.The company presented study results showing the area may contain possible geothermal energy.
Terrapin noted if the next phase of study is successful, the results could pave the way towards the first geothermal commercial development project in the country.
