The Village of Berwyn is looking for a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Olive Toews is leaving the position in mid-December, when she will assume the position of Director of Legislative Services in Northern Sunrise County.

In a press release, Berwyn Mayor Ken Montie had this to say.
“On behalf of Council and our residents, I‘d like to thank Olive for her dedication and contributions to the operation of the Village over the past 5 and a half years,” said Montie. “She leaves with our best wishes for her future endeavours.”
In the meantime, Peter Thomas will serve as interim CAO under a short-term contract. Thomas has previously been CAO in both Northern Sunrise County and in the Village of Pouce Coupe in British Columbia.
In the press release, the village says that council’s counting on Mr. Thomas to assist the council in this transition stage as they await a report on the Berwyn viability study from the provincial government. That report’s expected to be out in January.
