A news report states that he was a teacher at Fort Vermilion School Division at the time.
The report adds that Sheppard is now on paid leave from his position as Principal of Fortune Bay Academy within St. Bernard’s.
Mounties will be providing no further information, both because the matter is now before the courts, and to protect the identity of the victim.
