At long last the CCMAs have announced the hosts for the upcoming awards for the 19th in Saskatoon. The announcement was made earlier this morning and very late in the process as the show is a week and a half out. The James Barker Band will be hosting the biggest night in Canadian country, which are a great choice for hosts if the plan was to use a Canadian act. JBB are fun and I feel will make great hosts, and should be the top of the list for a Canadian act to host.
Also announced are Brett Kissel, Madeline Merlo, Tyler Joe Miller and Sacha have been added to the long list of performers for the telecast.
The award will be on CTV Saturday, September 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and streaming on Crave.
