The Town of Falher is warning residents of an upcoming water service interruption as crews carry out emergency repairs to a water valve on the east side of town.
The repairs are scheduled for Thursday, September third, with affected properties expected to be without water from approximately nine a.m. until four p.m.
The Town says an estimated outline of the affected area is available online for residents to reference.
Properties located along the edge of that area are advised to be prepared for a possible loss of water service, as some properties may be affected differently than the outlined area indicates.
Once water service is restored, residents may notice some discoloration in their water. The Town says this is normal and can be cleared by running cold water through the lines.
Residents in the affected area are encouraged to plan ahead and prepare for the temporary interruption.
