This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the show was headlined by Megan Paige and her new song “Heartbreak Highway.” Megan is a young singer-songwriter from Millet, AB who released this new single 2 years after her last release “Meant To Be,” and has used a highway sign baring the song name as apart of her marketing for the song.
Megan has been a headliner on the show back in 2023 so we catch up with her about her career, why the wait of 2 years between songs. We also discussed the need for artists today having to become content creators to market themselves and their music along with how the song came to be and why this one after the 2 years.
