It may be the dog days of summer right now, but hockey teams are getting their preparations in for next season.
In the North West Junior Hockey League, every team has announced when their training camps will be happening.
The league now has nine teams, with the addition of the Slave Lake Wolves, making a return from a 12 year hiatus.
The training camps for all the teams are as follows.
Slave Lake Wolves – August 7-9
Fairview Flyers – August 14-16
Sexsmith Vipers – August 14-16
Grande Prairie Wheat Kings – August 21-23
Fort St. John Huskies – August 21-23
North Peace Navigators – August 28-30
Dawson Creek Kodiaks – August 28-30
Beaverlodge Blades – August 29-30
La Crete Lumber Barons – September 11-13
