Minions & Monsters is the latest in the Despicable Me franchise and the Minions spinoff franchise which centres around the Minions in 1920s Hollywood.
While I have been hit and miss on the Despicable Me and Minions franchise this one certainly brings the goods in terms of comedy. While some of it is predictable the humour is there to really bring it to life for not just the kids in the audience but the adults will enjoy it as well.
We get to see the history of the Minions dating back to ancient times again and explore new Minions and their personalities and some fun side characters that just add to the fun.
It is hard to go into specifics without spoilers so let me just say this is one that gives Toy Story 5 a run for their money for animated film of the year.
