This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Aaron Volpatti and his new song “A Beer A Day.” Aaron is a former NHLer playing for the Vancouver Canucks and Washington Capitals before an injury put an end to his playing career. Aaron like some in country music artist you may know, Hunter Brothers, Chad Brownlee, Jojo Mason, after playing turned to country music for a career.
“A Beer A Day” is Aarons debut single, so we talked about the journey to this point including playing with future Hall of Famer Alexander Ovechkin. We discover how he found music and how this debut single came to be.
