The High Streamflow Advisory for the northern portions of the East Prairie and West Prairie Rivers has officially ended. However, officials are still urging residents to remain cautious while travelling on county roads, as some areas continue to experience impacts from overland flooding.
Drivers are reminded to obey all posted signage and barricades and avoid travelling through flooded sections of roadway.
At this time, two road closures remain in effect: Range Road 163 between Township Road 750 and Township Road 752, as well as Range Road 153, also known as Swamp Road.
Residents with urgent concerns are encouraged to contact county officials by calling 780-523-5955.
Authorities say they will continue monitoring conditions and provide updates as needed.
