
The Town of Peace River has officially lifted its State of Local Emergency, ending the declaration issued on April 23rd.
Officials say water levels along the Peace, Smoky, and Heart Rivers are being closely monitored as spring break-up continues, but there’s currently no immediate flood risk.
The emergency status was rescinded earlier today at 1:29 p.m., signaling improved conditions across the region.
