Two people from Woking are facing charges in an assault investigation.
Spirit River RCMP we’re called to a home in the community on February 24.
Upon arrival, police located a suspect who was promptly arrested.
Upon further investigation, a second suspect was arrested due to reports of a firearm being pointed.
A warrant was obtained for the residence resulting in the seizure of three firearms, one of which was loaded and hidden under a couch.
Charges were laid against the two suspects, Matthew Blair Hachey (44) and Kyle Dale Hudson (45), both residents of Woking.
Hudson was supposed to make a court appearance last week in Grande Prairie, but didn’t appear and now has warrants issued for his arrest.
Hachey meanwhile is scheduled to be in court next week.
