We’ve got our finals matchup set in the NWJHL, and it’s one the feels very familiar.
For the third straight season, it’s the La Crete Lumber Barons facing the Fort St. John Huskies for the league championship.
These were the top two teams in the regular season. La Crete finished first in the North-South division and in the post-season have beaten Sexsmith and Grande Prairie to get to the finals. Fort St. John finished first in the East-West division and they’ve gotten past Fairview and the Navs in the playoffs.
The winner of the finals will represent the league at the Alberta Junior B Provincials, happening from April 1-5 in Lloydminster.
