On February 23, 2026, Peace Regional RCMP responded to a homeowner’s report of a suspicious snowmobile on their lawn in the 79 Avenue area of Peace River.
The snowmobile was identified as one previously reported stolen from a business on 89 Street.
RCMP are seeking assistance from community members who may have surveillance footage from 79 Avenue between 10:00 PM on February 22 and 10:30 AM on February 23, which could help determine the direction of travel or identify individuals who had possession of the snowmobile.
The investigation is ongoing, and RCMP express gratitude to the community for their assistance thus far.
