At its February 13 meeting, Peace River Town Council received a year-in-review presentation from the Peace River Municipal Library & Art Gallery, highlighting steady growth in visitors, membership and programming.
The facility welcomed more than 37,500 visitors in 2025, up from approximately 35,000 in 2024 and 33,000 in 2023 — continuing a strong upward trend in community engagement.
In 2025, the Library recorded more than 1,900 active members and hosted over 500 programs throughout the year, ranging from educational workshops to cultural and community events.
Patrons also borrowed more than 53,000 items, underscoring the Library’s ongoing role as a learning and resource hub.
