In a high-profile case in the Peace Region, Sheryl Woods and Cheryl Bastien are scheduled for arraignment this morning in Grande Prairie.
The two were arrested last October by Valleyview RCMP after over 300 animals were found in distress at In the Woods Animal Rescue facilities in Marie Reine and the MD of Smoky River.
The animals, including dogs, cats, and livestock, were removed due to inadequate care.
Both women are expected to enter pleas on March 19th.
