During the Town of High Level’s Regular Council Meeting on February 23, 2026, Mayor Josh Lambert announced the resignation of Councillor Jori Zatko.
Elected in the 2025 Municipal Election, Zatko’s tenure was brief.
Mayor Lambert expressed gratitude for service, acknowledging the significant commitment involved in public service.
In accordance with the Municipal Government Act and Local Authorities Election Act, a by-election will be scheduled to fill the vacant council seat.
