This week is the last week to register for the Alberta Pond Hockey Championships next month at the Mile Zero Multiplex in Grimshaw.
The venue was changed last month from Lac Cardinal to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex, due to dangerous Ice conditions on the Lake.
Therefore, the field has been reduced from 36 to 24 teams, and will utilize both the indoor and outdoor rinks at the facility.
Dave Allan is one the the organizers of the event.
He stopped by The Brick Lounge to discuss the event, and the few spots left, the setting, the approach, the atmosphere and the potential fun of the weekend.
