Joey Martin Bigstone was last seen in Slave Lake, and is known for activities in Slave Lake and High Prairie.
Pavel Kozlov Laboucan was last seen in Atikameg, and is known for activities in Atikameg, Gift Lake and Cadotte Lake. -
Valleyview Town Council brought forward business at a recent meeting.
Initiatives like live streaming of council meetings, the budget and steps toward a potential regional fire service transition, were introduced. -

NPHL Playoffs tonight… Games 3 – High Prairie is in Manning, the Comets up 2-0.
Falher is in Grande Prairie, and Valleyview is in Spirit River, with each series tied at 1.
Game 4 – Dawson Creek is in FSJ, with the Canucks up 2-1. -
At the winter Olympics, Canada got a couple of silver medals this morning, that were very close to being Gold.
Quebec’s Mikael Kingsbury won silver in Men’s Moguls, but lost the tiebraker for Gold.
Quebec’s Eliot Grondin also won silver in Men’s snowboard cross, but lost the photo finish for Gold. -
In Curling, the women beat Denmark 10-4 in their opening draw, the men play the USA tomorrow.

In Hockey, the women beat Finland 5-0, and will play Germany in Quarter-finals on Saturday.
The men beat Czechia 5-0 this morning, and will play Switzerland tomorrow. -
Canada now has six medals, three silver and three bronze, to sit 10th on the medal table.
Italy leads the medal haul with 15, the Norwegian have 14, the Americans have 13, the Austrians have 11 and the Japanese have 9 to be in the Top 5. -
The sunshine appears a little more today, with it being the warmest day of the week.
Highs in the Peace and Big Lakes are around 5 degrees, and -5 in the Mackenzie.
A few clouds tonight with comfortable lows at between -5 and -10.
The long weekend is looking good, but next week may see some snow.
