    49 year-old William Stonehouse was last seen on Wednesday in town, and there is concern for his well-being.
  2. Fairview council approved a joint purchase with the MD of Fairview for the investment of a ladder truck for the fire department.
    Council also heard an update on the budget, which is projecting a surplus of over $460,000 in 2026.
  3. The town of High Level, and Manning have provided an area for residents to pick up some sand/salt mixture for their sidewalks and driveways.
  4. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said Americans will face the brunt of affordability challenges posed by U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest salvo in the trade war between the two countries.
  5. Canada’s wildfire seasons are growing longer, larger and more destructive, according to a six-decade analysis of fire records by the Canadian Forest Service.
