The two machines at the Ski hill were stolen earlier this week, and officials are looking for recovery, and the people responsible. - Concerned residents and organization are weighing in on the Town of Peace River having selected hours for the Out of the Cold Shelter in town.
A group of 11 doctors in Peace River have written a letter to Council regarding the conditions that individuals, who need the facility, are suffering mostly from the elements during the winter season. - Energy Alberta is inviting the public to get more information on the proposed Peace River Nuclear Project.

Emergency healthcare in Grimshaw is getting virtual physician help at the Health Center.
Alberta Health Services have introduced the Virtual Emergency Physician program at the facility. - Alberta’s top doctor says the province has peaked following a surge in influenza cases at the end of year and illness rates are coming down.
That surge resulted in thousands of cases being confirmed in Alberta, but Chief Medical officer of Health Dr. Vivien Suttorp says the figures are now showing different results. - The Alberta Medical Association (AMA) says the restructuring of the province’s healthcare system and the subsequent shift in government responsibility, has exacerbated overcrowding in emergency rooms.
