Misery Mountain Ski Hill in Peace River is asking for the public’s help after two skidoos were stolen from the facility in overnight hours.
The ski hill reports the theft occurred late Tuesday night, January 12. Officials say the skidoos are essential to daily operations on ski days, and their loss impacts both safety and efficiency at the hill. The incident has been reported to the RCMP, who are investigating.
Ski hill management is urging anyone who may have information, tips, or who noticed suspicious activity in the area to contact the RCMP. In the meantime, patrons and volunteers are conducting regular checks to help ensure remaining equipment stays secure. Community members are also encouraged to remain vigilant and report anything unusual.
