All this snow has prompted Ski Hills in the region to open earlier than in the last few years.
Most of the six resorts in the listening area opened their runs between Christmas and New Years, and will continue to be in operation for the next few months.

- Misery Mountain (Peace River)
- Fairview Ski Hill
- Manning Ski Resort
- Blue Ridge Mountain Resort (La Crete)
- Little Smoky Ski Hill (Falher)
- Whispering Pines Ski Hill (Worsley)
