On December 10, 2025, while responding to an unrelated service call, Peace Regional RCMP encountered 34-year-old Jeffery Dave Wendal Lariviere of Grimshaw, Alberta.
Lariviere was found to be violating his release conditions and had 16 outstanding warrants across Simon Lake, Grimshaw, Peace River, and Fairview.
He was additionally charged with three counts of failing to comply with his release conditions.
Brought before a Justice of the Peace, Lariviere was remanded into custody, with a court date set for December 15, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
The Peace Regional RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of, any suspicious activity in the area. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Peace Regional RCMP.
