A change in garbage collection service is coming to Peace River residents.
The Town has announced that Prairie Disposal is taking over the community’s waste collection contract. Delivery of new black garbage carts will begin this November 17 week.
Once your new cart arrives, you’re asked to hold onto it — it won’t be used until the week of December 1.
In the meantime, GFL will make its final pickups the week of November 24. After your last pickup, residents should leave their old GFL bins at the curb so they can be collected and removed.
If you haven’t received your new Prairie Disposal cart by November 25, you’re asked to call Prairie Disposal at 780-624-3388.
Again, beginning December 1, residents should start using the new Prairie Disposal cart, and collection days will remain the same.
