Times are tough at times in the Agriculture Sector and organizations are doing their part to break the stigma of mental health.
The Do More Ag. Foundation presents a couple of mental health literacy programs designed specifically for farmers, their families and those who are involved or support the agriculture sector.
The workshops cover the topics of stress, depression, anxiety, substance use and how to start a conversation around mental well-being.
With the economy, Ag. prices, drought, fires, pests and other things plaguing the industry at the present time, the taxing of a farmer’s well-being is stretched, which means more and more seminars like this, are being requested.
The workshops are happening Monday November 24th at the Fire Hall in Manning, and Saturday November 29th at the Ag. Center in Berwyn.
