On November 8 2025, shortly after 10 a.m., Peace River Regional RCMP responded to reports of gunfire in Simon Lake Alberta.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found two individuals with injuries.
Both victims were transported to the hospital by EMS and are expected to recover.
The Alberta RCMP’s Western Alberta District General Investigations Section has taken over the investigation.
Preliminary findings suggest the injuries resulted from a localized incident, with no ongoing risk to the public.
The Peace Regional RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible.
