Valleyview RCMP, the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society and the Canadian Animal Task Force have participated in a large rescue operation that involved nearly 300 animals.
Peace Regional authorities have a locally wanted female in custody failure to comply, plus warrants.
31 year-old Sarah Dawn Hewitt of Grimshaw was found hiding on a property on Sunday in town, and faces charges, including removing her Electronic Monitoring Device.
