Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP) has announced the closure of its Fairview campus at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year, citing financial sustainability concerns.
Board Chair Shawna Miller stated that, despite extensive reviews, no viable scenario emerged to keep the campus operational.
The Fairview campus will continue normal operations through the current academic year, with select programs transitioning to the Grande Prairie campus in Fall 2026.
NWP is committed to assisting stakeholders in repurposing the Fairview campus facilities to benefit the local community.
