Valleyview RCMP, in collaboration with the Canadian Animal Task Force and the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society, are investigating allegations of animal cruelty at a local shelter.
Hundreds of animals, including cats, dogs, horses and livestock, have been and are receiving care.
Charges are pending, and authorities assure the public that the animals are being looked after.
