They are creating opportunities through 4H clubs in the Peace Region.
The Co-op Growing Leaders Program is a province-wide partnership with 4H Alberta to support youth, who want to join 4H.
The program launched in 2022, but is new to the Peace Region, wheere Co-op financially support new and second-year members for registration to local clubs.
Over 650 youth have been supported since the program started, which includes nearly 400 in 2024 alone.
Applications are being accepted until mid-December for local youth developing leadership, confidence and life skills for Alberta’s future.
