Alberta Justice has scheduled a preliminary hearing for Stephen Mogg, a 55-year-old Kelowna man, from May 25 to 29, 2026, in Valleyview court.
Mogg faces charges of producing a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking, following an ALERT operation in November 2024.
Authorities dismantled a sophisticated fentanyl “superlab” near Valleyview, seizing seven kilograms of processed fentanyl valued at $700,000, along with lab equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars.
The lab was believed to have been operational for at least two years, producing multi-kilogram quantities of fentanyl per cycle.
