- Canada Post has an offer to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers on the table, in the hopes of settling that dispute, that’s now in its third week.

- The MLB playoffs continue in the National League tonight with Game 2. The Dodgers are in Philidelphia, and Milwaukee is in Chicago.
