Harvest is underway in the Mackenzie region, and research is being kept up with as well.
The Mackenzie Applied Research Association has been busy with promotions and plot research during the summer.
However, this year has been difficult with lack of moisture in the area, prompting extra attention being given to soil rejuvination and water management.
Now with the Fall and winter seasons approaching, events are being put on to gather more information for farmers, producers and researchers to absorb.
This would all be in anticipation of hopefully a better year moisture-wise, even though the region is receiving a bit of rain, at this present time.
