Northern Sunrise County Deputy Fire Chief Julien Bergeron completed his 2025 Northern Trek this past weekend – running from Edson-to-Jasper between August 19 and 23 in support of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (CFFF).
This year’s fundraising run carried special significance in light of the Jasper Wildfire and the tragic death of Wildland firefighter Morgan Kitchen on this fire.
Bergeron completed the same Edson-to-Jasper route in his 2019 Northern Trek run.
This year, the Northern Trek raised a record-setting $27,000 for the Canadian Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation.
