Today is the potential end-date of what the next step is the dispute between the Alberta Teacher’s Association, and the Teacher’s Employer Bargaining Association.
Both sides are still negotiating a deal, that would negate job action being taken.
The previous agreement expired before the 2025 school year started.
Teachers have until October 7th to initiate a strike, but the Bargaining Association could vote to lock out teachers today.
