Some good news and bad news on the wildfire front…
The Good news is that the major blazes near manning, Chateh, and Red Earth Creek are having firefighters gaining the edge on the battle.
Bison Lake, Sousa Creek, Moody Creek, and five of the seven fires at Red Earth Creek are under control, while Slim’s Creek is Being Held.
The Bad news is that thanks to the heat and dry conditions in the Northwest, wildfire dangers are high to extreme in the Forest Areas.
A few Advisories are in place around the Northwest, and that number could increase, as the week rolls along.
