- Jail time has been given to one of four people charged after shots were fired at a convenience store in High Level.
- Today is the start of formal mediation, between the Teachers Employer Bargaining Association, and the Alberta Teachers Association, on looming job action.
- Harvest in the Peace Region is at 6% complete, which is ahead of averages. Specifically, Dry Peas are 16% done, followed by Barley at 9%.
As well, soil moisture conditions are at 51% at Good to Excellent levels. - Kids Sport Grande Prairie is now Kids Sport Peace Country, that covers from Valleyview to the BC border to the NWT Border. (Karna Germshied interview in separate story)

The Association is hosting a night of fun, food and community, as they unveil their new scoreboard on Friday September 12th at Glenmary School.
