The promotion is back giving farmers and producers a break during the busy Harvest season.
AFSC’s Meal’s in the Field, or the Northern Alberta Farmer’s Feed, is back for the month of September.
AFSC is thanking farmers for their drive, their determination and their dedication for their work, especially in 2025, with the Northwest being hammered by drought and lack of moisture.
So much so, that many jurisdictions have declared Agriculture Disasters.
Nominations are being accepted until mid September, with one winner being declared eachm week during the month, being supplied a full meal, entertainment by Canadian Country artist Jaydee Bixby, and prizes supplied.
The promotion is in its third year in the North, and popularity is always present, with litterally hundreds of nominations being submitted for this contest.
