Lesser Slave Lake MLA Scott Sinclair has officially been ousted from the UCP Caucus.
Sinclair was removed for being publicly against the 2025 Provincial budget, saying too little attention was paid to rural northern communities, and too much on the big cities.
The MLA has received a lot of support for his stance on the budget.
Sinclair, and fellow removed party member Peter Guthrie have since joined forced to try an revive the old Progressive Conservative party.
