
Alberta’s crop conditions have seen a modest improvement, with the percentage of crops rated good to excellent increasing by 3 points from last week to 25%.
Despite this uptick, the current rating remains 25% below the five-year average.
In the Peace Region, surface soil moisture conditions rated good to excellent have also risen by 3%, now standing at 35%, yet still trailing the provincial average of 59%.
Harvesting of spring-seeded crops in the Peace Region is anticipated to commence within the next couple of weeks.
