The Town of High Level to form task force regarding reliable service for the Mackenzie Region.
At the June 23 Council Meeting, High Level Mayor Crystal McAteer spoke to forming a task force to assist in attracting airlines to the community.
Citing the community is losing specialists; particularly those from AHS who fly in, by not having reliable air service.
McAteer suggested the proposed task force should include economic development personnel, someone from healthcare, an Indigenous representative, and members from council.
At the meeting, Council put forth and carried the motion to form the task force.
