The Town of Grimshaw has appointed Belinda Russell as Acting Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective July 12, 2025.
Russell brings extensive experience in municipal administration, having served in roles such as front desk services, taxation, accounts payable, payroll, and most recently as Municipal Secretary.
In that capacity, she worked closely with the CAO and Council, supporting legislative compliance, record-keeping, election processes, and policy development.
Mayor Wendy Wald expressed confidence in Russell’s abilities, highlighting her strong organizational skills and commitment to the community.
Russell, who is also actively involved in local organizations like the Grimshaw Playschool and Curling Club, stated her enthusiasm for collaborating with Council and staff in her new role.
The Town is currently conducting a formal recruitment process to fill the permanent CAO position.
