Seeding season in the Peace Country, and across the Province are nearing the Finish Line, thanks to the dry weather.
Alberta Agriculture is stating that the seeds are 84% planted in the region, up from 61%, the previous week.
Specific totals include Spring Wheat at 97%, Dry Peas at 95%. Oats and Canola are 78% seeded, and Barley at 76%.
Seeding totals are remaining at 15 percentage points higher than the 5-year average.
