- Clifford Carifelle of Grimshaw has been given 6 1/2 months in prison, after a search of a Grimshaw home in 2022.
Carifelle is also due back in court in May from an arrest in Falher last October, where a loaded firearm, other weapons and ammunition were found in a stolen truck. - Restitution is order against Tywon Larose of Grimshaw, who will pay $7,500, after a series of searches in town.
The searches found stolen firearms and $20,000 worth of stolen firefighting equipment. - The Hockey portion of the Alberta Pond Hockey Championship has been cancelled, due to safety issues and ice thickness.
The Gala night and the Silent Auction, benefitting the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention in Grimshaw, are still happening on the Saturday night. (Interview on App) - Fairview town council is meeting tonight.
