Two men facing charges following liquor store robbery in Nampa

Two men are facing charges after a liquor store was robbed in Nampa last month.

On July 13th, Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Big Country Inn liquor store earlier in the morning. Peace Regional RCMP soon launched a collaborative investigation with the the Peace River General Investigation Section and the Peace River Forensic Identification Section. After the investigation was completed, Two local residents were charged in connection with the robbery this morning.

34 year old Joshua William Northcott of Peace River is facing one count of robbery with a firearm, while 31 year old Mukhtar Ali of Nampa is facing one count of Possession of property obtained by crime.

Northcott is still currently in police custody, and will appear in Peace River provincial court on Monday, August 12th. Ali has been released, and his court date is on August 26th.
