The Town of Fahler is looking to fill a seat on council.
The vacancy was created when James Bell stepped down after accepting a position with Fahler as its new Director of Community Services.
Nomination day will be on Monday, February 3 at noon.
Fahler CAO, Adele Parker, says as of 1:00 pm on Friday, no nomination papers have been submitted to the town.
Fahler council has seven seats, including the mayor’s chair.
If only one person files their nomination papers, then that individual would be acclaimed the winner.
If there is more than one candidate, then there would be a by-election.
